Main entrance of the pandal. The building blocks of the pandal were made of bricks and clay dolls / terracotta dolls were arranged across the structure.
The central part of the pandal was a dome shaped with clay dolls along the circumference of the building.
The idol was a great imagination where Dasgupta imagined the creation coming from young hands.
Fantastic creativity. Observe the way Laxmi, Saraswati, Karthik and Ganesh has been arranged. Also the manner in which lion and asura has been depicted!
Colourful demonstration in the main section of the pandal. Modern form of art with different types of claywork and use of lots of colours made the place very lively.
The idol was also colourful and was painted in an imaginative way. Also like the Jamini Roy influenced style in which it has been made.
Here is another view of the central dome.
Another view of the colourful imagination and use of clay dolls.
A good peak of the overall pandal premises.
