The pandal was conceptualised by the members of Santoshpur Sagnik club. It was layered structure made with hay and mud. It had the shape of a rural place of worship.
 The idol was made by Prafulla Biswas from Krishnanagar. The styles of Krishnanagar idols are different from the ones of Kumartuli. Its actually quite easy for a seasoned pair of eyes to identify a Krishnanagar idol.
 All ready for the Mahasaptami puja daan
 Neatly cut fruits arranges in bronze, brass and copper plates. After puja these fruits ( prasad ) will be distributed among the people in the pandal premises. In childhood days this distribution was a thrilling moment everyday after the puja.

 Another important element of puja is the Bhog daan. This is an ideal platter for the same. Most families will offer bhog atleast once during the Durga puja and will keep the same as the lunch menu for the day.
