Idol of Maa Durga was created by award winning artist Subodh Roy. The entire idol was made with clay including the entire ornamentation. The colours used reflected great simplicity.
 The entrance to the pandal premises. The symbol announced the reliability of Bengalis on the almanac. There is a saying bengalis celebrate "13 festivals in 12 months" ( baro mashe tero parbon ) which essentially means that we have more celebrations

 The centre stage of the pandal where maa Durga was placed. Every frame had some elements/symbols of the panjika (almanac).
 Not only are festivals celebrated referring to the almanac, but also the dates / times of important events like marriage, birthdays. housewarming, anniversary etc. The pandal was created in a fantastic manner where all these events were captured as
 The layout of the pandal was very modern with lots of open air. No closed enclosure was used. This reminded me of some open air layout of art shows that visited in Europe.
 More frames of the almanac. Typically this comes as a black and white book every year and also has photos of the key festivals. These frames remembers such photos.
 The entire puja setup from a distance. Shibmandir is also known for its innovative illumination. Thus music and lights in the evening would create a deeper feeling in the pandal premises.
