After the pushpanjali people do not throw the flowers. Its collected in the basket and then the basket of flowers offered to Durga's footsteps.
The pushpanjali happens in 4 rounds. This is the final round when people offer the final prayer. In the final round they do not use flowers. Its prayer offered with folded hands.
