The idol has a human imagery to create the sense of dichotomy. Paul made use of a projector which created multiple reflections of this imagery. Some reflections landed behind cages while the central imagery was getting worshipped. The society needs
The overall design of the pandal was very rustic. This along with Ghosh's music and shankha dhwani created goosebumps. Observe the symbolic use of cages.

Light was also kept minimal. I liked the way the ceiling was created. Hundreds of bamboos were just hanged from the top. They were gently swaying creating a mild movement of the lights and the projector reflections.
