What a fantastic idol from Parimal Pal! The inspiration came from Madhubani style and the artist's clean style stood out. Especially like the way the apparels of the idols have been painted in Madhubani style.
Beautiful depiction of tree and birds sitting on the stems. All made of meshed matts.
Full of the trees made from meshed matts.
The walls had different carvings in the madhubani style. The structure was clean that it could be mistaken as a permanent exhibition.
The central part of the pandal premises where Maa Durga resided. Again observe the clean presentation of hay and matt leaves. Surrounding Durga the arrangement of thin bamboo sticks had a feeling of an infinite hollow!
Another tree and this was made with clay instead of matt leaves!
There were plenty of walls with intricate Madhubani paintings!
The entrance to the pandal had terracotta tiles arrange in a neat manner with nicely painted Madhubani trees. And along the walls were madhubani paintings.
Front view to the entrance of the pandal.
